Either you are a blogger or a business owner, you will want to have your own website. Sure there are free hosting sites both for blogs or business sites, but you will have more control when you have your own site. The problem is, with so many web hosting services out there, how do you choose which one is the best for you?

Getting online degrees

Used to be that one would have the excuse of prioritizing work over studies, so much so that when an undergraduate finds work and began earning money, he quits schooling, albeit temporarily, and work full time. Soon, he’ll find himself without time to be able to go back to school. But thanks to online colleges, he would be able to continue and finish his studies and finally get his degree online.

Saving on printer ink

I am sure that you have heard about the CIS or the continuous ink system. An ink system that helps save cost on printer inks. Actually, I just bought a printer recently installed with a CIS. But I just learned that aside from a CIS, there is another for us to save on printer ink costs and consumption.

There are search engines for all types of searches – Google, Yahoo!, Bing, and more. You can search almost anything on them. Filed under: Internet,Links,Uncategorized,Warning! — Tags: , , , , , , — Roy @ 7:23 am August 3, 2009

Now, before you panic, this is not a new virus nor a resurrection of April Fools day virus which kept us all on our toes before.

This Virus Alert! is yet another song of Weird Al Yankovic. This is in keeping with the plant of putting a Weird Al song in each of my blog.

Touch a blogger: Tie a yellow ribbon for Cory Aquino!

Just like my other blogs, my so-called techie blog is only joining the ‘yellow ribbon’ movement as I post a yellow ribbon in this blog too.

This project was started upon the initiative of Reyna Elena and Barrio Siete and they ask every blogger to post a yellow ribbon on their blog as gesture of support for our former president Cory Aquino.

To participate:

  1. Create an entry entitled: Touch a blogger: Tie a yellow ribbon for Cory Aquino!. A link to this original entry will be appreciated, but is not required.
  2. Post a yellow ribbon in your blog for President Cory Aquino. Whatever form of yellow ribbon that your creative imagination can come up with.
  3. Invite other bloggers to tie a yellow ribbon for Cory.

And as you make your post, don’t forget to say a prayer for Cory Aquino.

Update: August 1, 2009

Former Philippine president Corazon Aquino passed away this Saturday morning at 3:18 AM at the age of 76.

Rest in peace, Tita Cory…. and please, pray for our country too…

You saw the profile of your favorite celebrity on Twitter. Naturally your immediate reaction was to follow him or her. But are you sure you’re following a genuine celebrity?

We know it’s easy to assume any personality in every social media. I mean, how many celebrities with the same user name are you going to see if search for your favorite celebrity? so which one then is real?

Chances are, it would really be difficult to determine whether you are following a real celebrity or not.

Yes, US switched from analog to digital TV. It has pulled the plug on analog TV, making it nothing but a part of history.

Although earlier reports said that in spite of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), many homes were still expected to be experience blank screens on their TV.

Almost escaped!

This one could be one for those ‘funniest videos’ shows as two convicts were almost able to escape.

The two prisoners who almost escaped were handcuffed together, but apparently they forgot about it. As they were trying to make their getaway, they ran opposite sides of a lamppost, slammed on each other and then they fell on the ground where they were picked-up by jailers.

Stupid escapees
