Jeanne Thomas’s husband thought she was nuts for installing a $250 webcam system in their home. Even telling her that she would never catch anyone with it. But it proves to be wise investment, as she was able to catch thieves with of help of webcam.

She was at her work when she decided to check her home through the security camera she installed. She was surprised as she watches thieves invade her house.

This wasn’t the first time the Thomas’ home was broken into, they have already been burglarized before, which prompted her to install a security camera which she can access through the internet while at work.

Upon seeing people inside her house, she immediately called 911 and informed them of what’s happening in her house.

She was giving them a play-by-play account of what was happening inside the house as the 911 dispatcher was sending police to the scene.

The thieves were able to enter the house through the pet door. They roamed around the house, picking up everything that they considered valuable. One of the thieves was even seen stuffing his mouth with shredded bag which he took from the refrigerator.

They didn’t notice the camera however, which resembles an air freshener. Thomas even said that one of the thieves even walked up to it, but didn’t know what it was.

After a few minutes, the police were seen entering the house. They said they saw 37 inch flat screen TV, a safe, gaming machine with several miscellaneous games, among others, on the victim’s bed.

Police later arrested the thieves which were identified as Curtis Williams, 20, and Steven Morales, 19. Williams and Morales said there were two other guys, not seen in the video, who were also involved in the incident. Police was able to arrest the other two guys as well.

They were all charged with burglary of a dwelling and attempted grand theft.
